Windows 7 Family Pack Launching In AU… For A Limited Time
By AutoBlog at 30 November, 2009, 8:37 am
Looks like the constant online bitching has finally paid off – Microsoft this morning has announced that it will be releasing a limited run of Windows 7 Family packs in Australia. The packs contain three licenses to upgrade your Windows PC to Windows 7 for $249. The catch is that it’s a limited offer, with the vague disclaimer of “until stocks run out”. If you’re currently cursing Microsoft because you went out and bought three individual Windows 7 licenses before today, fear not! Microsoft haven’t abandoned you. They’re offering you three complimentary Wireless comfort desktop keyboard and mouse bundles to ease your suffering. All you need to do is prove you either purchased three licenses in one hit, or have three separate receipts showing three copies of Windows 7 charged to the same credit card number. The Family pack bundle will only be available through the following retailers: Betta Electrical, Bing Lee, David Jones, Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, JB Hi Fi, Myer, Officeworks, Retravision, The Good Guys, WOW Sight and Sound. It’s a long video, but well worth watching… [ Byteside ]
