Ford Figo Inspired FORD FIGO ASPIRE will be the first compact sedan from Ford . The car made its first public appearance at the 2014 Auto Expo, and grabbed a lot of attention. It was perhaps one of the most stylish models presented at the last-year happened auto expo. The Aspire has been built on the same B2E platform as the company’s successful compact SUV, Ford EcoSport. The manufacturer has already confirmed that this upcoming vehicle will be available with a 1.5-litre TDCi diesel and a 1.2-litre TiVCT petrol engine option. As far as transmission is concerned, this vehicle will most likely be offered only with a 5-speed manual transmission option only. Though, we will have to wait for the official launch to know the complete specifications, features and other details. The automaker also claims that this yet to be launched vehicle is going to feature advanced aspects including voice activated SYNC with Ford AppLink function, which allows users to operate various aspects of this vehicle.

Interior 

The manufacturer is yet to reveal the details regarding the overall trim levels and its list of features. However, all the trim levels will feature all the essential comfort aspects, which makes this vehicle a tough competitor. Its entry level trims might host aspects like power assisted steering, front power windows, adjustable front head restraints, a manually operated air conditioning system, sliding and reclining front seats, storage units and drink holders. At the same time, they will also come with an instrument cluster featuring a speedometer, tachometer, trip-meter and fuel gauge. While the mid range variants could feature driver’s seat height adjuster, dual front sun visors with vanity mirror, rear adjustable head restraints, intermittent front wipers and follow-me home headlamps. On the other hand, we can expect its top end variants to host features like parking sensors, multi-functional steering wheel, remote central locking and various other such features.

Interior Space 

The automaker has built this vehicle with a roomy cabin that can easily accommodate five people. The head space in the front is quite sufficient, but it can be increased a bit in the rear. There is ample leg space offered along with sufficient shoulder room. Meanwhile, it comes with a spacious boot compartment that is good enough to store a number of things in it. This space can be further increased by folding its rear seat.

The Aspire looks very proportional as compared to its competitors in the highly competitive sub-compact sedan segment. Its new aerodynamic design makes it visually striking with a slanting bonnet featuring few visible character lines over it. The windscreen is pretty wide, enabling a better view to the driver.

The major highlight on the front comes in the form of a large trapezoidal shaped radiator grille. Just above this grille, the prominent insignia of the company is embossed, which is easily noticeable. The headlight cluster looks quite trendy, while a couple of round shaped fog lamps look quite conventional.

It has an attractive side profile, which includes neatly carved wheel arches that are fitted with a stylish pair of alloy wheels. The all new ford GT 2015  has shocked the auto lovers with its new stunning looks at Detroit Auto show , which is going to hit the showrooms next year, likely without any changes from showcased model.

Old V8 engine is replaced by twin turbo 3.5L v6 engine propelling the rear wheels equipped with a seven speed dual clutch transmission, delivering more than 600 hp and a capability of reaching 0-60 mph in 3.0 sec. Lot of carbon fibre used ford promises GT will exhibit extremely high power to weight ratio.

The passenger cell is all carbon fiber, and mounted to this are aluminum front and rear subframes encapsulated in structural carbon fiber body panels—those are the sexy wings you see to side of the engine. Ford has started promoting the 2014 Ford Fiesta on its website and it’s social media pages, indicating that the company is getting ready to launch the car in India very soon. The car was showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo (report below) and is basically a facelift with minimal, if not zero mechanical changes.
The biggest change will be to the exterior design, added features like SYNC with AppLink multimedia system, a Start/Stop system, Automatic wipers and headlights, more storage solutions etc. The Fiesta is expected to be powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel motors on offer on the current model. We hope Ford India adds the brilliant 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine to the lineup too.

It will be interesting to see how Ford handles the sales of the Fiesta, it has received much flak from customers who have had to wait a long time to get their units of the Ford EcoSport. We hope Ford sets things straight before they launch the car in India. It is one of the best driving cars out there with unique features, the lack of rear seating space and the high price tag has stopped it from becoming a big hit and we hope that the new car is marketed better. 2014 Ford Fiesta New Model Features And Specifications

The new Fiesta gets new design compared to the previous model and looks more bolt and stylish with a larger grille, new sculpted design at front, new fog lamps, new alloy wheels. In profile, it looks similar to the previous model, but front and rear get new treatment making it look more attractive than the previous model.
The wheel arches are more pronounced, the body lines are more visible and are noticeable, the Kinetic design language is clearly visible on grille, sleek headlamps, tail-lamps etc. The boot space is fairly large and can fit at least 3 large bags. The interiors are very similar to what we see on the previous model and the EcoSport. The same dual tone black silver touches are used with new fiesta too. Additionally it gets some new features like App Link technology from Ford-Microsoft Sync system which allows voice command access to apps on the smartphones which are paired with the car.

The detailed specifications have not been revealed by Ford at this stage, it will be revealed closer to the price announcement of the car which is expected to happen around mid of 2014. We expect that Ford may not make any major changes to the engine and transmission system other than minor improvements in performance and fuel economy of the car. The drive train also is expected to remain the same. The previous model of Fiesta comes with a 1.5 Litre petrol Ti-VCT and a 1.5 Litre Diesel DuraTorq engine. The petrol engine produces around 104 BHP of peak power while the diesel produces about 90 BHP and both of them are mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. The petrol model also comes with a 6 speed dual clutch automatic transmission which we have tested earlier and found it to be really peppy and high on performance as well as fuel economy.

Some of the weak points of the old model, which includes not-so-spacious rear seats seems to have been addressed here with new improved interior packaging.                        The united state’s auto giant Ford has been consistent player always.Their reliability with quality is the feature people rely on.  Ford is preparing itself to launch the Fiesta hatch and sedan back there & is marketing it to the best of their abilities.The latest trick – Ford claims that the Fiesta has the best in class NVH levels, comparable to some of the larger cars. They say drivers will enjoy being inside the Fiesta as it has a very quite cabin.                           This marketing technique might not be applied in India considering the fact that there would be cost cuttings for this price sensitive market and the NVH levels may not be as good. Correct. We are getting the brand new fiesta very soon.
                              Test mules of the hatch are already doing rounds around Chennai, and locals can very soon expect to see the disguised sedan too. The sedan is expected to be launched in Early 2011 & the hatch in mid 2011.
                           Engines for the sedan include a 1.6 Zetec petrol that punches out 118 BHP & a 1.6 Duratorq Diesel with a power output of 90 BHP & 20.7 Kgm of torque. Engines for the hatch are not clear yet but we expect it to have the 1.4l Duratec petrol & the 1.4 Durotorq diesel that we have already experienced in the current Fiesta. There will be only manual transmissions available, as Ford has not shown interest of offering automatic transmissions on existing models.
                      Ford’s marketing technique is going to be driving pleasure. Ford cars are always known to have excellent driving dynamics and the new Fiesta will be no different. Back seat space will not be one of its positive points as the sedan is just a booted version of the hatch with no increase in the wheel base. Both the hatch & sedan will share the same interiors. Features like start-stop button will also make their way onto the Indian variant.
                                     The sedan could be priced between 7-9 lakhs & the hatch between 5.5-7 lakhs. Ford has more cars in the pipeline.We’ll get you all the scoops. Watch this space!

                                  Ford, the US auto major, already launched its small car Ford Figo in India and aiming to launch more compact vehicles in the country. Now the company is planning to launch Ford Focus in India. However, the news is not new for Indian car lovers. From 2003, expectations are in air and a couple of Ford officials had also confirmed the news. Again the insiders are indicating the launch of Ford Focus in India. The Ford Focus was unveiled in Europe in July 1998 followed by worldwide launch in Feb 2000. After this year, Ford re-launched the car with more upgradation in different countries. In fact, Ford Focus is the best selling car of the US based auto firm. Once upon a time, it was the best selling family car in the UK. In International market Ford Focus is available in sedan, hatchback, 2-door cabriolet and coupe body type. But for India, it would be a sedan body type Ford Focus.

                     The Ford Focus will be loaded with 2.0 litre Duratec 16V DOHC engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 140 hp at 6,000 rpm and generating 136 Nm of peak torque at 4250 rpm. It also comes with a 2.0 litre, Duratec, 16V, DOHC, 20E, PZEV mill that develops a top power of 136 hp at 6000 rpm and belts out maximum torque of 133 Nm at 4250 rpm. The power train incorporates five-speed manual transmission. Moreover, four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission is also there as an option.

                                    The Ford Focus is a four door five seater sedan type car. It comes with a standard trunk capacity. Stepping inside the spectacular new Ford Fiesta which is a result of quality craftsmanship is none other than entering a spacious cockpit. Once you step inside there is no need to go manually, as the Titanium and Titanium Plus car will respond to your voice commands. From cruise control to climate control, the speech module controls it all. The multi-function LED display at the center of the dashboard displays complete information about your mobile calls, music and air conditioning. The side mirrors automatically fold when the car is parked. The space inside is quite comfortable for seating five people.
The seats inside the new Fiesta have more padding for the extra cushion making it more comfortable. The seats give supportive to he back, thighs and there are head rests. The driver seat can be adjusted. However, there is no height adjustment for the front passenger seat. The three spoke steering has multi functions built on it and is also height adjustable. On the left hand side of the steering are the audio controls and on the right side are cruise control buttons. With the Electric Power Assist Steering System (EPAS), the new Ford Fiesta is easy to maneuver in the city and on the highways. The EPAS activates only when there is a need and thus saves energy and fuel. The instrument cluster has a aluminum finish and has two tunnels. Above them is a red colored 3.5 inch high resolution multi function display that has details about trip meter, odometer, distance to empty, average speed and efficiency etc. The mobile inspired central console has buttons for CD, Radio, AUC, Phone and button to go to the menu.
