Hyundai Creta Main

Hyundai has come up with another Masterpiece after creating tremendous impact by launching elite i20 in Indian market.  Much talked about upcoming compact SUV from Hyundai was known as ix25 earlier. CRETA was showcased by Korean manufacturer in Shanghai Auto show for the first time recently.

Creta’s design looks to be carried forward from Santa Fe and too much extent Creta looks to be a scaled version of Hyundai Santa Fe. Creta is expected to hit Indian roads later this month. The company elaborates that the name Creta was selected because the ‘pronunciation of Creta evokes welcome similarities with the term creative’. This name will be used in other markets as well.

                                           NEW HYUNDAI ELANTRA

For the latest model year Hyundai has essentially started from scratch with its fifth-generation Elantra (although the more commodious Elantra Touring remains unchanged). This new compact sedan features a new engine, transmissions, body and interior, and is set to be the most competitive and impressive model yet.

The most apparent change at first glance is of course the dramatic restyling of the vehicle, which now wears familiar lines and style from the rest of Hyundai ‘s freshest products. Inside, occupants will likely have a similar experience with more modern and higher quality materials and more appealing designs.
Hyundai has also switched from three models to just two: GLS (base) and Limited (top-of-the-line). Both models feature the same new 1.8-liter four-cylinder that reports to duty with 148 horsepower and 131 lb-ft of torque. that means this latest Elantra uses a smaller engine (1.8-liters vs 2.0-liters), has more power (old was 138 horsepower and 138 lb-ft), and still manages to increase fuel economy as well.
The all-new Elantra is rated at 29 city, 40 highway with either its six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions. It is worth noting, however, the manual transmission is not available on the Limited trim level.
Differences between the GLS and Limited start with the basics, such as standard 15-inch wheels on the GLS, and 17-inch wheels on the Limited. The Limited also comes standard with an automatic transmission.
Other standard features on the Limited include solar control glass, a windshield shade band, fog lamps, air conditioning, one-touch driver’s window up, telescoping steering wheel, leather seats, sliding center armrest, Bluetooth, cruise control, steering-wheel-mounted radio controls, dual illuminated vanity mirrors, heated front and rear seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob and an illuminated ignition.
Many of the features listed as standard on the Limited are available on the GLS, excluding notable such as leather seats and other surfaces.
When it comes to safety, Hyundai doesn’t hold back any content for the Limited, with both sharing the same features, including: vehicle stability management, electronic stability control and traction control system, anti-lock brakes, brake assist, tire pressure monitoring system, six standard airbags, daytime running lights, automatic headlights and an anti-theft system with panic button.
For those looking to add a little extra, Hyundai has a few packages to choose from: GLS M/T Popular Equipment Package, GLS Preferred Equipment Package and GLS Navigation package round out the choices for the base model.
The Popular Equipment Package adds air conditioning, cruise control, telescopic wheel, solar glass, windshield band and 16-inch steel wheels for $1,250.
The Preferred Equipment Package adds 16-inch alloy wheels, steering wheel audio controls, Bluetooth, cloth inserts for the doors, a sliding center armrest, illuminated vanity mirrors and an illuminated ignition for $550.
The Navigation Package, which requires the Preferred Package, add a 7-inch screen and navigation system, a rearview camera, a 360-watt stereo with external amplifier and automatic headlamps.
Should you start with the already well-equipped Limited, the only available package is the Limited Premium Package, which adds everything found in the GLS Navigation Package, plus proximity key entry with electronic push-button start and an immobilizer for an additional $2,000.

                                       THE ALL NEW HYUNDAI EON

Hyundai Eon will be launched on October 13, as confirmed by official sources. The pre-launch bookings have already begun on October 1. Earlier there were speculations that it will be lunched on October 14 but the launch has been preponed. It is expected that Hyundai Eon price will be around Rs 2.5 lakh and it will further intensify competition in the under Rs 3 lakh small car segment in India. Its small size as well as Hyundai brand backup will be sole factors that are expected to bring good response in the country. It will be an under 800cc car and in order to keep the price down, not much features are expected on the base variant. However, there will also be improved variants, obviously at an extra cost, that will be loaded with features.

A hatchback by body built-up, it will be the lowest priced car by Hyundai in India. It will be powered by 800cc engine and overall would peep in the under Rs 3 lakh car segment in India. It is also expected to have a maximum power of 48 bhp which is quite enough to power a small car. Hyundai EON is expected to inherit its looks from Hyundai i10 but it will be smaller. On the other hand, initial information suggests that it has nothing common with its tall boy senior Hyundai Santro except the interior which will be as spacious as Santro. It is also expected that the new Hyundai car will be much inspired by the company’s new Fluidic design platform. The front of Hyundai’s small car EON is similar to Hyundai Verna Fluidic while it has a side similar to i10 and an exclusive rear. On the inside, there will be a comfortable seating for four persons. Five will surely not fit in.

In order to keep pricing in control, a feature rich EON is not expected however, the higher end variants are expected to house advanced features such as power steering and power windows. Safety features including airbags, Anti-lock Braking System will be in all probability missing from Hyundai EON. Following its low price, Hyundai is expected to cut several features but will surely make it stand in competition to Maruti 800 and Maruti Alto. It will surely be a plus in looks and features as compared to Tata Nano.

Hyundai EON Models

Hyundai EON This is the base variant of Hyundai EON and will be powered by around 800cc engine. This variant will have no power steering, power windows and is a standard model.
Hyundai EON GL This is the improved model of Hyundai EON and has the same engine specifications but has power steering, power windows, music system besides other features.

Hyundai EON Mileage, Average And Fuel Economy

The highly anticipated Hyundai’s hatchback Hyundai EON is likely to come powered with around 800cc, 3 cylinder petrol engine which is capable of producing peak power of 48 bhp and 50 Nm of maximum torque with a five speed manual gearbox. At this point of time we can just assume that the hatchback will be fuel efficient in order to show its presence in the highly competitive Indian auto market. Hyundai EON Mileage is expected to be 18 kmpl in the city and 22 kmpl on the highways.

Hyundai EON Power

Hyundai EON Power will be housed with around 800cc powerplant in petrol. The hatchback is expected to be driven by a 3 cylinder petrol engine which will generate maximum power of 48 bhp and peak torque of 50 Nm through a five speed manual gearbox. The powertrain will carry a low powered 800cc engine thus greater power and acceleration is not expected. Overall, it will be a city car with a decent engine tuned to perform well in even congested city roads.

Hyundai EON Acceleration & Pick-Up

As far as the Acceleration of Hyundai EON is concerned, it is mentioned earlier that the hatchback will be loaded with around 800cc engine and the engine output is transmitted through a five speed manual gearbox. The powertrain promises to offer usual acceleration that crosses the speed of 100 kmph from nill in 21 seconds. This hatchback will be able to reach a top speed of 135 Kmph.
